Kid Sopris, #3290, SASS Regulator and Life Member, announces a new Joint Venture combining the efforts of Colt Manufacturing Company� and Happy Trails Children�s Foundation�.
For the first time and for a limited time a SASS� member, may for a donation to the Happy Trails Children�s Foundation�, forever have immortalized their image on an Official Colt� poster.
The �Real Cowboys Shoot Colt�s� poster depicting the images of Buffalo Bill Cody, Pat Garret, Billy The Kid, and Wild Bill Hickok now has a spot for your image as well.
This fundraiser spear headed by Kid Sopris is designed to help the Children of the Happy Trails Children�s Foundation� while allowing the SASS� members a chance to own a piece of history.
Kathy Hoyt, Colt� Historian, deserves much of the credit for her support and efforts in getting the attention of Colt Manufacturing Company� and it�s many companies, to this worthy project by helping to arrange a special license agreement with Kid Sopris.
Photo�s submitted must be in Western Costume and have the same general characteristics and pose of the already famous images.

I am still making some leather goods for sale. thought the members would like to see my latest. I make these water bottle carriers so you can put them on your gun cart, carry them on your shoulder, or hand them on your saddle horn. I can put a couple of initials on these if a cowpoke wants. These are all leather, you have to furnish the bottle of water. They come in two sizes. Large and pint size. Each is custom made so I can put on basketweave, or whatever. I have a large one on my saddle and it looks good even if I say so myself. Of course, if you'd prefer, other beverages can be put into them as well. For the SASS members, I'll sell them for $30.00 each. I also have about anything else, hat bands, Bolinas (custom orders), signs, chinks (custom order), work belts, etc., Journal covers, diaries. I have special made hatbands for the Palm Leaf hats. Everyone who sees them wants them if they own a Palm Leaf hat. I call them the ugliest hat band in the land, but you should see them. There's a picture there below. I make lots of other stuff as well. It keeps my mind and hands busy. Just because I can't shoot because of this disability, don't mean I can't still do a little leather work. Christmas is a comin' and I'm doin' my best to help santa all I can.
