Soon (to be announced) will be a permanent shooting bay (built by DLSC)
that Madd Mike will use to promote Cowboy Action shooting. My plans are
to include all stage requirements, such as targets, loading / unloading
table, stage props and new stage design monthly. Participants can either
become annual members of DLSC for access to the bay, or pay their daily
fee for the use of the Bay. Participants
are encouraged to use the bay for practice sessions, bring friends or
family to show them how to shoot CAS, or to shoot the stage design at
that time, to see how you do against others. If multiple shooters show
up there at the same time, simply line up at the loading table like at a
regular shoot. All participants are encouraged to tell their shooting
stories and post their stage scores on the http://www.nevadacas.proboards51.com/
message board under the DLSC
heading. Targets
will be left on the stage and the stage will be available for use,
during DLSC regular shooting hours. The targets and so forth are being
sponsored by Madd Mike in an effort to draw new shooters to all of the
area CAS clubs, so I ask that folks continue to use all LEAD BULLITS and
all SASS rules apply to participants. Keep the bay clean, be safe, and
above all have some fun. This is starting out as a trial basis, and
should be up and running under phase 1 construction, in time to start
practicing for our up-coming SASS NEVADA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. I
hope that we can show other shooting folks and DLSC what we SASS / CAS
are all about. I
will change the stage design about once a month, post the stage
description at the loading table, and the message board will be open for
all scores to be self posted, or U can post, who ya brung stories. Phase
2, will include concrete in pre shoot area, and if things go really
well, Phase 3 could even include some sort of shade. So folks, help me
make this an successful endeavor, as we need new shooters on a regular
